Electric Fire and the High of Growth

New Moon

Yesterday's New Moon was in an alignment with the Mars-Uranus opposition. Mars––the archetypal warrior, and Uranus––the rebel-trickster.

Did/do you feel the electric fire in the air?

Here's an image I generated through Midjourney which evokes the zing of the Mars-Uranus combination:

With this alignment in the sky, it's a good time to push your projects forward––enter the Martian battlefield and create with Uranian brilliance.

Integrate This

Our website has gone through a major upgrade so please give it a peek, especially the Our Story page which Abeer beautifully wrote.

As marketing and advertising become a major part of our business, filming, directing, acting, and video editing will take on a new spark.

Here's a video that Abeer directed and edited of me modeling our Paradigm Crack hoodie: https://youtube.com/shorts/dn9VUQq80ac?feature=shared

Paradigm Crack will no longer be available after November 30th. It's a gorgeous heavyweight hoodie designed in conscious participation with the Saturn-Uranus alignment, symbolizing the relationship between the old and the new; tradition and innovation. The next Saturn-Uranus transit will begin in 2030––Paradigm Crack hoodie will definitely want to be worn then!

We are also in the midst of designing our next collection for the Jupiter-Uranus world transit we'll all be experiencing for the majority of 2024.

Jupiter-Uranus periods are about reaching new heights: the quantum revolution in 1927, the grand opening of Disneyland in 1955, the Moon landing in 1969, and the release of Instagram in 2010. These are just a few examples that express this planetary combination.

Jupiter symbolizes growth, culture, and optimism, while Uranus symbolizes freedom, innovation, and brilliance. When these two archetypes are combined, our individual and collective psyche can experience: creative breakthroughs, suddenly broadened horizons, the desire for instant wealth, and the drive for excessive change.

I'm personally excited for this collective embrace. It is evident that the Saturn-Uranus transit is still quite intense as the Israel-Hamas war continues. You can read how this conflict has unfolded over previous Saturn-Uranus cycles in this issue of The Deep Now. Hopefully, the entire Earth community can enter into the vibrancy of the Jupiter-Uranus alignment with deep peace.

2024 Election

Last Tuesday was Election Day in the U.S. which means we're getting closer to the 2024 Presidential election.

I was curious to see if I could predict the next presidential candidate by mapping the major world transit we'll all be experiencing in 2024 (Saturn-Neptune) to the natal chart of current candidates.

So I began by researching the birth charts of previous U.S. presidents, and I noticed that each president was born with the same outer-planetary configuration as the major world transit during that time. Let's take a look at the past few presidents, including the current one:

BIDEN: Born in 1942 during a Saturn-Uranus conjunction, and becomes president in 2021 under a Saturn-Uranus square.

TRUMP: Born in 1946 during a Saturn-Pluto conjunction, and becomes president in 2017 just a little bit prior to the major Saturn-Pluto conjunction which began in 2018.

OBAMA: Born in 1961 during the Uranus-Pluto conjunction, and becomes president in 2008 under the Uranus-Pluto square.

BUSH: Like Trump, born in 1946 during the Saturn-Pluto conjunction, and becomes president in 2001 under a Saturn-Pluto opposition.

It seems our collective psyche resonates with leaders who archetypally carry the energies of the moment––whether good or bad.

So with that, I'm going to take a chance here and engage in some predictive work.

The next major astrological transit which all of humanity will be embedded within is the Saturn-Neptune alignment from 2024 to 2027. Saturn-Neptune can express itself as: practical idealism, moral nobility, disenchanted realism, and/or spiritual emptiness. We will all be in this archetypal realm together––witnessing it on the geopolitical stage, as well as experiencing it in our personal lives.

So if we're using history as a guiding tool, then these are the current candidates who were born with a Saturn-Neptune alignment:

REPUBLICANS:

Chris Christie (1962––Saturn-Neptune square)

Ron DeSantis (1978––Saturn-Neptune square)

Nikki Haley (1972––Saturn-Neptune opposition)

Ryan Binkley (1967––Saturn-Neptune trine)

Tim Scott (1965––Saturn-Neptune trine)

DEMOCRATS:

Joe Biden (1942––Saturn-Neptune trine)

Marianne Williamson (1952––Saturn-Neptune conjunction)

I'm going to take it a little further and suggest that those who were born with a soft aspect (trines and sextiles) may not make it through due to the fact that this Saturn-Neptune transit is in a hard aspect (conjunction).

So that leaves us with:

Chris Christie

Ron DeSantis

Nikki Haley

Marianne Williamson

As the candidates narrow down I will conduct further research and keep you updated. For now, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Ron DeSantis will be the likely candidate. I may be totally and utterly wrong. This is just a moment for public astrological inquiry and research––we'll see how it all unfolds.

Archetypal News

It feels quite funny to be writing about WeWork, as I'm currently writing this newsletter from my WeWork office in Manhattan.

If you have not heard by now, WeWork––the coworking space provider––declared bankruptcy last week. As a company, WeWork has gone through quite a rollercoaster ride. Literally––up from a $48 billion valuation in 2019, all the way down to $45 million today.

Now, this is not really a shock as many companies, especially tech companies faced a similar collapse in 2022 (PayPal, Meta, Netflix, etc.). This is a typical Saturn-Uranus phenomenon.

But Saturn-Uranus is not the reason why I'm digging into WeWork today. WeWork's sparkling growth has a lot to do with the Jupiter-Uranus transit.

In 2017, during the peak of the Jupiter-Uranus opposition, WeWork raised $4.4 billion from the SoftBank Vision Fund at a valuation of approximately $20 billion.

Masayoshi Son, the CEO of SoftBank was totally enamored by WeWork's CEO, Adam Neuuman's charisma.

While WeWork seemed to be growing through the high number of office/building leases Neuuman was signing, the demand for co-working never reached the level at which WeWork was making acquisitions. Physical growth (property leases) was mistakenly seen as financial growth (WeWork members).

In 2019, during the Saturn-Pluto alignment (rigid conservatism, reactionary authority, etc.), Masayoshi Son and Adam Neuuman had to face the grim reality––WeWork could no longer ride high on unlimited free alcohol, it desperately needed to become a profitable company. So Neuuman stepped down as CEO and Son lost $11.5. billion along with his credibility as an astute investor.

When SoftBank invested in WeWork for the first time in 2017, everything seemed perfect. Jupiter-Uranus transits come with that "wow this is phenomenal" vibe. However, in its shadow, it also expresses: excessive gambling and/or optimism, sudden fame and wealth––too much too fast, and disastrously overconfident risk-taking. Sounds a lot like what happened with WeWork right?

If you're interested to learn more about the WeWork story, I highly recommend watching the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed, starring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway.

As the Jupiter-Uranus transit unfolds into the Spring of 2024, enjoy the peak experiences but also be cautious of the crash that comes with the thrilling highs.

We're all in this together. Let's participate deeply, and co-create with the mesmerizing cosmos.

In Mystery,

Somya
