Philosopreneur

The latest episode of Philosopreneur is now live. My guest is Divia Dhir, a Vedic Astrologer from Punjab, India.

This was quite an interesting episode as I personally have some conflict with Vedic astrology and its traditional attitude toward the cosmos. I won't get into it here, but Divia and I did get a chance to touch on some of these points while also integrating what it means to be a philosopreneur in an astrological reality.

Prediction

Bitcoin

The major world transit for 2024 is the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction (0º).

Jupiter signifies growth, abundance, and excess, while Uranus symbolizes innovation, freedom, and instability.

The last time Jupiter and Uranus were in this exact configuration was in 2010.

Bitcoin, which came into birth in 2009, had a major growth moment in 2010 when the first widely recognized transaction involving physical goods occured. On May 22, 2010, two pizzas were delivered by a local pizza restaurant in Florida for 10,000 BTC.

Before I continue, I have to give a disclaimer: THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE.

The CoinGecko chart below is a view of Bitcoin's price since its conception. The yellow blocks I have indicated are major Jupiter-Uranus world transits (the glyphs for Jupiter ♃ and Uranus ♅).

After the 2010 Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, the next major alignment was a square (90º) from 2013 – 2014. During this period, the BTC price shot up from $200 to $1127.45.

The next major Jupiter-Uranus alignment was an opposition (180º) in 2017. And that's when BTC skyrocketed to $19.665.39.

And then, we reach our most recent peak––the next major Jupiter-Uranus alignment (sqaure) in 2021 when BTC went to the Moon with $67,617.02.

As you can see in the chart history, all three periods were peak moments for Bitcoin. And that is literally what Jupiter-Uranus signifies––a quantum leap.

So with that...the rhythm of history seems to be indicating that Bitcoin is on the verge of its next quantum leap.

Presidential Election

In the last issue of The Deep Now, I shared my predictions for the 2024 presidential election based on the upcoming Saturn-Neptune world transit and birth charts of the candidates, as this alignment will be with us until 2027.

Previously I was just looking at Republicans and Democrats, but I'd like to add two more candidates who are Independents to the list. Both were born during a Saturn-Neptune alignment:

RFK Jr. (1954) and Cornell West (1953)

So that brings my selection to:

  • Ron DeSantis
  • Chris Christie
  • Nikki Haley
  • Marianne Williamson
  • RFK Jr.
  • Cornell West

Archetypal News

US-China

In the recent Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (apec) summit in San Francisco, Joe Biden and Xi Jingping came to agreement that US and China could co-exist. Quoting The Economist:

Both emphasised the fact that they have known each other for more than a decade, since they were both vice-presidents. But they disagreed on many things, not least the nature of their countries’ relationship. Mr Biden said they had to “ensure that competition does not veer into conflict”; Mr Xi warned against the very notion of a contest, saying “major-country competition is not the prevailing trend of current times”. Earth, he added, “is big enough for the two countries to succeed”.

After years of nervous energy around a major conflict erupting between US and China, it seems we have possibly entered into a harmonious era.

This is the archetypal signature of Uranus-Neptune, a softer aspect (sextile: 60º) that just came into alignment this August and will go out of alignment in 2029.

Uranus, the archetype of freedom is fused with Neptune, the archetype of peace.

The last time we had a Uranus sextile Neptune transit was between 1964 – 1969.

During that period, the Paris Peace Accords negotiation process began. Although the agreement was not signed until 1973, the impulse toward restoring peace in Vietnam was subtly underway.

And this is the energetic nature of a sextile. Compared to hard aspects (conjunction, square, and opposition), a sextile evokes the energy of a (low caffeinated) cup of tea. It's subtle.

During the Uranus-Neptune square in the 1950s and the Uranus-Neptune conjunction in the 1990s (both hard aspects) the energy was much louder.

1950s were a significantly peaceful era as the collective consciousness was just coming out of World War II. As for the 1990s, it is also hailed as a peaceful period, marking the end of the Cold War and the demolition of Apartheid in South Africa.

The next major Uranus-Neptune (square) transit will be from 2034 – 2045.

Sam Altman

As you've probably heard by now, Sam Altman the CEO of OpenAI (ChatGPT) was fired from his own company roughly two weeks ago. I won't get into the nitty gritty details, but he just returned back to his role as CEO.

Within a 2-week time frame, Sam went from being ousted to being pleaded to return.

This back-and-forth, unstable situation with one of the most paradigm-shifting companies of the moment is a Saturn-Uranus signature.

It'll be interesting to see how this story continues to unfold...
